Athletics information
The bond, if approved, would provide funds for several critical infrastructure updates. One such update is roofing needs. The district currently manages multiple leaks in several buildings. The bond proposal includes the replacement of more than 130,000 square feet of roofing at the Primary, Middle, and High Schools. Don’t forget to vote on Tuesday, May 5!

Yup, Thursday's 1/2 Day is a SNOW DAY!
G-A Community Schools will be closed Thursday 1.22. Daycare open.
Flyers will be sent home Monday, December 1. DEADLINE is December 12. Please pay online using optional fees tab. Fees go directly to youth sports. Please do not use the Pay to play tab. That tab goes to Athletics .
GIRLS YOUTH BASKETBALL NEWS
After watching games today and having too many girls between 3:40-4:15 when we have 60+ girls in the gym, we are switching up the girls after school practice times and days. Tuesday will be 3/4 girls 3:00-4:30. Thursday will be 5/6 girls 3:45-5:15.
We feel this change needs to be made to provide better quality practice times with the girls.
Starts it this week!
3/4 3:00-4:30 Tuesday (11-11)
5/6 3:45-5:15 Thursday (11-13)
Deadline is tomorrow. PLEASE register by tomorrow. Youth teams need to be created. Practice and gane schedules also need to be done this week.
Registration forms were sent home Friday. DEADLINE is October 21. It is important that girls in grades 3-6 playing travel need return forms by the 21st. Uniforms need to be ordered, teams need to be determined. Coaches are needed. Travel basketball games start Saturday, November 8.

Students that returned Permission slips will received their Walk to School bracelets today. Students must have bracelets on the wrist to get off the bus. Parents can start dropping off students at 7:15 at River Oaks Park. Grades 1st -4th. Parents are invited to walk with us.
